Here at Eagle Rock Dental Care we can provide you three types of x-rays: Intraoral Digital X-Rays, Digital Panographic X-Rays, and 3D Digital X-Rays.

Intraoral Digital X-Rays

Intraoral x-rays are the most common form of dental x-rays. The term “intraoral” means that the x-ray is taken from inside the patient’s mouth. If you have been to the dentist you have almost certainly had an intraoral x-ray.

Digital Panographic X-Rays

Panographic x-rays for dentistry are a newer and more widely accepted form of dental x-ray imaging by both dentists and patients. Instead of an invasive procedure, this machine allows you to sit comfortably and place your head on a rest while the machine takes an x-ray.

It is more comfortable and less intrusive for the patient and provides your dentist with an excellent view of your teeth allowing them to diagnose any problems faster and easier. We love to use this machine and have had great feedback from our patients.

3-D Digital X-Rays

Our 3-D x-rays are done using the same process as the panographic x-rays but provide us with even more information about your dental health; including the health of the area around your teeth like the jawbone or surrounding tissue.

With this technology we are able to significantly reduce your radiation exposure while greatly increasing our ability to diagnose you faster and more efficiently.  We are very proud to offer the best in dental x-ray technology for our patients.
